Newcastle Kinship Families is inviting local kinship carers and their families to take part in a free Christmas Party on 22 December, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event promises a festive atmosphere, fun activities, and a chance for families to connect and celebrate together.

On Wednesday, 23rd October, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm across all our sites we will be hosting our first Parents Evening of the year. This event provides an important opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers and discuss their academic progress so far this year.

I would like to introduce myself as the new CEO of Trinity Academy Newcastle Multi Academy Trust. My name is Lynn McNally, I have worked in education for 22 years in a wide range of roles and have been employed by the Trust since 2007; most recently leading on school improvement across the Trusts’ academies.

Child exploitation takes many forms, and any child or young person can be exploited – there is no stereotypical victim.

We all need to:

• help prevent children becoming victims,
• be aware of the signs that a child might be being exploited, and
• speak out if we see something suspicious.
